Prizes for 2008 The prize
categories are: Women - Teens and 20's NEW in 2008: Tandem - all ages Gold, Silver, and Bronze (if there are enough entrants we will create age categories) Additionally, the over all winner (both men and women) will receive $200 sponsored and an event jersey identifying the winner as King of the Mountain and Queen of the Mountain. Second and third place (men and women) riders will receive $100 and $50 respectively. Mike's Barber Shop is sponsoring the $200 cash prize for King of the Mountain.
The Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging is sponsoring a special "Not Over the Hill Prize" for the fastest rider over 60 years. It is your age in dollars. The Loco Boys prize of $50 goes to the best club rider from DuBois or Clearfield. We will use ZIP codes to determine if you are a Loco Boy. Every rider receives a t-shirt. We are in the midst of designing of the 2008 t-shirt (July 2008). It will again be long sleeve since the 2007 shirt was so well appreciated. This year it will be blue with new artwork on the front and the sleeves will be much like last year's. Art work for the 2007 t-shirt front
The back will have logos and lists of our sponsors in three colors. See the sponsors page. NEW! Zak Dieringer's Bicycles is going to give away an event cycling cap. We are just starting the design, but it certainly will have his logo and our logo on it. |
