2008 KING OF
THE MOUNTAIN (last update July 10, 2008) Click here to view 2007 Prizes and all times
NEW for 2008: We are going to start riders every 30 seconds to get into the awards ceremony faster. The long sleeved t-shirt is going to be cobalt. There is some talk of having a cycling cap as part of the give aways.
In 2007 we had 78 riders, several coming from out of state . The weather was very good and the leaves were turning right on schedule. Everyone seemed to like the t-shirts and the food. Sorry, Chris Mohney, for misspelling your name on the t-shirt. Times are posted. And our apologies to Terry Conaway and Tony Kwasnica for the delay in getting them their proper medals. There were 3 sorting errors during the race last year, which we will try to avoid in 2008 with a better back up plan.

Testimonials: I think you ran a superb race. The entry fee was reasonable. The t-shirts were nice and long sleeved! The volunteers were nice. The post-race food was great...often there isn't ANY post race food. To top it all off, the proceeds went to a great cause - Habitat for Humanity. I will definitely bring friends next year! from C.K. 10/29/07 P.S. The ride DOWN the hill was beautiful.
Thanks allot for doing another great job
of organizing the race! I have to admit, I did miss the bagpipes! |
