It was a great day for a race with clear skies, little breeze, and 70 degree temperature.  JEFF MILLER continues to reign as the King of the Mountain.  DONJA JONES is our new Queen of the Mountain.  The field was noteworthy for the number of excellent teen riders.  We had more racers than ever with 90 participants.  The long sleeved t-shirts and cycling caps seemed to be well appreciated.  Many thanks to the volunteers which made this event a success.

Testimonials:

I think you ran a superb race. The entry fee was reasonable. The t-shirts were nice and long sleeved! The volunteers were nice. The post-race food was great...often there isn't ANY post race food. To top it all off, the proceeds went to a great cause - Habitat for Humanity.  I will definitely bring friends next year! - C.K. 10/29/07  P.S. The ride DOWN the hill was beautiful.

Thanks allot for doing another great job of organizing the race!  I have to admit, I did miss the bagpipes! - Jeff 10/23/07

Tell all  your volunteers they did a great job. The race keeps growing-and the competition keeps getting better! Those times those teenagers did were unbelievable! Maybe Jeff M will finally succumb to them in his old age  Take care. - Jim 10/14/08

If it a great event and a challenging ride.  You can
count on us to be there next year.  - Paula 10/30/08
